The Academic Computing Center offers a variety of online resources to enrich the teaching and learning environments at AUB. These resources are useful for faculty members, for students, and for staff.

Resources

Resources Include:

ACC Digital Repository
  • ACC created this project to foster innovation in education and to enable collaboration, communication, and free sharing of information within the AUB community and the world. The material can be accessed directly from the DR or through Moodle.

AUB YouTube Channel
  • Complete information on AUB's Educational YouTube Channel with a list of articles written about the launch of the project.
  • Providing support on how to submit videos for uploading to the channel.

Tutorials
  • ACC offers thorough tutorials on a variety of computer applications. These tutorials can be viewed online or downloaded

Partnerships
  • ACC invests time in developing a culture that supports innovative uses of technology in education. Through its successful partnerships with respected educational agencies such as ION and SLOAN-C, AUB faculty members have access to a toolkit of technology-related resources, ultimately providing them with new means to enhance learning

Libraries
  • AUB's Jafet Library and Saab Medical Libraries carry excellent resources useful for all academic fields. Among those resources are many E-books and E-journals

Software & More
  • ACC shares any freeware that might be useful for educational purposes with the AUB community
  • ACC also provides a link to the AUB Citrix Server where the AUB community can access various software that may not be available on their computers, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, SPSS, Microsoft Office application and much more

  • Information on Ergonomics with tips and tricks to help you set up your workspace in a healthy way
